Keith D. Cedrone, of Norwood, and formerly of Dedham, died suddenly on Monday, June 19, possibly due to a cardiac event, according to his obituary and a GoFundMe created to offset funeral expenses.
Cedrone, who died at 36 years old, graduated from Dedham High School where he played in the marching band.
He earned his black belts in karate and tai chi at the Dedham Community Center, where he would go on the teach karate.
Cedrone was a proud electrician in the IBEW Local 103.
"Keith loved going to work each day and was a proud employee of Gaston Electrical where he looked up to and was mutually respected by his fellow brothers and sisters," his obituary said.
He was involved with his church, Waters Church in North Attleboro, where he enjoyed serving in his ministries and fellowshipping with his small group.
Cedrone was a loving father to his three young daughters, Harper, Fiona, and Lorelai.
"There was nothing he loved more than being a girl dad: whether that was on the soccer field, the softball diamond, or in the dance studio," his obituary reads. "He was also never too cool to wear a tiara and have a tea party."
Cedrone and his wife, Kelly, loved attending concerts together. He also passed down his love of ice fishing to his daughters. When not in the woods or spending time with his family, he could be found at the family's cottage in Crescent Beach, Mattapoisett.
Cedrone's community rallied to support his family with funeral expenses and other costs related to his passing. In the fundraiser's first three days, it raised over $72,000 to support his family.
"Keith has always been so welcoming and nice and Kelly is one of my favorite people," wrote one donor. "My heart breaks for their family."
"Rest in peace my friend, wrote another. "I won't forget the friendship we made on the job."
Cedrone's visitation is scheduled for Friday, June 23. His funeral service will be held the following day.
